High Availability with postfix

Hi everyone

I would like to have a couple of servers just for amavis, for high
availability. What's the usual way of doing that? Using HAProxy? With a
MX record at postfix' side?

Thanks in advance,

using vrrp or ipvs is an alternative.

multiple MX records are fine, but
- only applicable for mail from other servers, not clients

- some mail services were reported for long times between reetries, could
delay mail when one of servers is down.

Sorry, I didn't explain what I wanted to do. I was talking about having a
couple of boxes only for amavis. What's the usual way of having a pool of
amavis servers in HA, and making (our) postfix talk with them?

Sorry for my english. As you may have guessed, it's not my mother language.
